Dan Lopez grew up in Julian, CA — a town famous for apple pie — peeling apples in Liz Smothers’ bakery and learning what makes a crust worth talking about.
Years later he brought Michelle to Julian and introduced her to his first love: apple pie. She could bake circles around him. Thirty years of marriage later, that shared obsession became Old Glory Pies.
Today we’re more than a pie truck. We cater corporate lunches, build wedding dessert tables, fuel teacher-appreciation mornings and deliver hundreds of holiday pies — every one handmade, from scratch, meant to be shared.
